But since this world wasn't mentioned in anyone's script, Firefly only caught a fleeting glimpse of it.
Yet the ties of fate in the universe are wondrous beyond words.
A vast meteor shower across the starry sea accidentally sent Firefly into this world.
Sam landed, and driven by curiosity, Firefly briefly left the medical pod. What she saw was the devastation of this world.
A huge mechanical construct stood on the scorched earth, gazing without sorrow or joy at the shattered skyscrapers strewn everywhere. The wind, tinged with the smell of gasoline, mourned a once-brilliant civilization.
A strange kind of electromagnetic wave seemed to flow through the air here.
Firefly slowly stepped onto this scorched earth, unaware that behind her, a light called life had flashed in Sam's cold mechanical eyes, while the merciless blade in its hand was aimed at her.
When organic life and inorganic life collide, will the result be a romantic spark or dangerous slaughter?

A few things to know before reading
1. This story mainly depicts Firefly facing death head-on, the remnants of the Glamoth Iron Cavalry, and her tense push and pull with a Sam who has developed independent consciousness. The girlfriend experience is very limited, so please don't read if that bothers you.
2. Sam is an antagonist from a certain point of view, and that's Rupert's fault.

No matter what, he was going to take Chenyue from this timeline. It wasn't unreasonable. If fate was unfair, he would fight for what he wanted himself, even if his opponent was another version of him.
