Furina was just an ordinary person. She was pretending to be a god!

The news exploded among the audience at the Opera Epiclese. People whispered to one another, looking toward the weeping "god" on the divine throne.

The revelation was shocking, but even more shocking was the crack that appeared in the sky, through which a gigantic whale surged toward them, carrying Primordial Sea water.

People scattered in every direction, but one child stood frozen in place, eyes vacant.

The panicked crowd thought the child was as good as dead. But then a graceful figure suddenly appeared beside the child and shielded them.

Someone cried out, "The Hydro Archon!"

The next second, the Hydro Archon turned into shimmering droplets of water and vanished before her people’s eyes.

After who knew how long, the dazed child clutched the Hydro Archon's hat and realized the opera house was empty. Only the revered Iudex stood weeping in the middle of the stage.

Furina had lost her memories, meeting the world again like a newborn baby.

She floated on the water's surface, alone and helpless. She heard the rustling of leaves in the wind and saw an Oceanid swimming toward her.

The Oceanid said, "You can hold a human form, so you must be a very powerful Oceanid. Would you like to travel the world with me?"

Furina was about to answer when a flurry of memories flashed through her mind: the fleeing crowd, the surging seawater, the helpless child, and a pair of violet eyes filled with disappointment.

An immense loneliness and pain welled up in her heart. Furina shed tears. Who was she? Where had she come from? Where was she going? And... who owned those violet eyes that had always been watching her?

No matter what, he would take Chenyue from this timeline. That wasn't too much to ask. If fate was unfair, he would fight for what he wanted, even if his rival was another version of himself.
