After My Attempt to Reform the Villain Backfired

Song Lian transmigrates into a side-character cannon fodder in a villainous Dragon-Aotian novel and gets bound to a System that tells him to fend for himself.

In the original story, he kidnaps Shao Hengqing's younger sister, then beats Shao Hengqing half to death when he comes to rescue her. This drives Shao Hengqing's sister to take her own life, becoming the final straw that breaks the Dragon-Aotian protagonist.

That night, Shao Hengqing hacks Song Lian into mincemeat with a knife, then sets out on the path of darkness.

When Song Lian, who has transmigrated into the story, opens his eyes, he sees Shao Hengqing battered, bound hand and foot, and staring at him with icy eyes. Song Lian immediately realizes his life is in danger.

“Hello. Please fend for yourself.”

The System is useless, so Song Lian has to find a way to survive on his own.

Step one: Make Shao Hengqing and his sister his sworn little brother and sister.

Then he switches into caring mode: extra food when they're hungry, more clothes when it turns cold. When Shao Hengqing gets bullied, Song Lian stands up for him. When Shao Hengqing causes trouble at school, Song Lian takes the blame.

Step two: He decides to put his own talents to use. He may be no good at literature or martial arts, but he has money and knows how to make more. He resolves to become the Dragon-Aotian protagonist's personal treasury.

As the male lead's right-hand man, he may not go down in history, but at least he can eat well and live comfortably for the rest of his life.

Later, Shao Hengqing pacifies the realm and rewards those who helped him. Looking at the Dragon-Aotian protagonist, now a domineering founding emperor, Song Lian smiles with satisfaction.

He went from cannon fodder to the male lead's right-hand man. He's practically the greatest at defying fate.

Then he packs up his things and heads back home. It's time to find someone who understands him and settle down.

Unexpectedly, on the very first day out of the city, he gets kidnapped. When he wakes up, he's lying on the emperor's bed.

The male lead kisses his waist, smacks a kiss onto his lips, and takes off his clothes. When Song Lian tries to get away, he pulls him back and plows into him relentlessly.

He screams, he protests, he lies flat, he... enjoys every minute of it.

Song Lian says coyly, “But he's really good at it.”
