A Desensitization Trial Report for a Lithromantic Patient

Campus romance / bickering couple / soulmates / gradually falling hard / online romance turned real

One is a gloomy, cocky art-school guy who believes, "I only like you if you like me first." He can talk himself up to the heavens.

The other is a contrarian with lithromantic tendencies who says, "If you like me, I'll run away at once." He talks tough but is soft-hearted, and flies into a rage at the slightest provocation.

So what happens?

A little baiting sends them both completely off the rails, and they fall for each other in both directions.

Lu Wan: When my girlfriend gets mad, I can't help laughing. We really are fated to be mental sparring partners.

Qin Guo: Is dating okay? Sure! But I make the rules! If you dare stop liking me, I'll smack you on the head!

Every day, they use romance as a cover for doing things that make everyone around them want to call the police.

"So which one of them pursued the other?"

"No idea... I don't think they know either."

[Reading Guide]

Gender-bending. Don't read if that's a dealbreaker.

This story is an alternate-universe version of Her at the Bend in the Road. It takes place earlier in the timeline. The leads are each other's only partners emotionally and physically, but in the original novel neither was a virgin. Read with caution if that bothers you.

The story is completely new, and you don't need to have read the original to enjoy it.

Theme: Accept yourself and live positively.
