Rain Tonight

Ruan Jiashu's love is the most obsessive kind.

Liang Zheng is a silent, cold mountain of a man. His tie is always immaculate, his top button always fastened. Just like his life, everything proceeds in perfect order.

So when Ruan Jiashu says, "Liang Zheng, I love you,"

Liang Zheng pushes him away without hesitation. Ruan Jiashu is his younger brother, the young master of the Liang family, but he can never be Liang Zheng's wife.

Ruan Jiashu presses him at every turn, tears of stubbornness on his youthful face. "Brother, why can't it be me?"

"Because it can't. There's no reason."

Liang Zheng wipes away his tears, then sends Ruan Jiashu abroad with near indifference.

They meet again four years later. Ruan Jiashu has found his way back to the Ruan family overseas, and, along the way, married a man.

At the airport reunion, Ruan Jiashu pats the round little head of the child beside him and says, "Say hello to your uncle."

Liang Zheng says nothing.

No one knows that late at night, the beautiful young man is pinned beneath him on the bed, his face wet with tears. "Liang Zheng, you were the one who threw me away first."

Liang Zheng moves fiercely, his eyes bloodshot. "Ruan Jiashu, I never told you to marry someone else."
