[Simple Reading Guide]
This story has the original timeline's YF, the alternate timeline's TF, and friendship between Y and F in both timelines.
During an illness, the Yukimura from the original timeline transmigrates for the first time to the side of the Fuji in the alternate timeline, becoming a guardian spirit who cannot leave him by more than three meters.
Yukimura was still receiving an IV in his hospital bed one moment, then standing in an unfamiliar bedroom the next. A boy who had just come out of the shower, towel-drying his hair, appeared. The good news was that Yukimura knew him: Seigaku's "genius," Fuji Syusuke. The bad news was that they weren't close, so it would be hard to explain why Yukimura had suddenly appeared there.
The worse news was that the boy frowned and looked at him in confusion. "Who are you?"
In short, Yukimura had transmigrated to a parallel world where he had never existed, becoming a ghost beside this world's Fuji Syusuke. He couldn't leave Fuji by more than three meters, and only Fuji could see and touch him.
Yukimura, hearing that Fuji had transferred to Rikkai Dai: Hm?
Yukimura, hearing that no one named Yukimura even existed: Hm...
Yukimura, hearing that Fuji had unusual feelings for his former captain: Hm?!
Yukimura, hearing how Rikkai Dai differed from the one he knew in every way: No way!
A once-in-a-lifetime encounter. Drawn together by fate, they take part in pivotal moments in each other's lives and witness everything fall apart and come back together.
Yukimura: I think I'm falling for you.
Fuji: ?
Yukimura: The you from my world.
Fuji: Go get him.
