Can an Honest Straight Guy Get Caught in a Love Triangle?

Shi Qiu has felt that something strange has been going on lately. His belongings keep disappearing. Sometimes it's an ordinary ballpoint pen, sometimes a T-shirt, and sometimes something even more private.

His usually peaceful life has also changed drastically. It all started when three outstanding suitors suddenly appeared around his beloved younger brother, and Shi Qiu became their only source of information about what his brother likes.

The warm, sunny campus heartthrob loves hearing Shi Qiu talk about his brother. Then he takes Shi Qiu's hand and asks whether doing this or that might offend him.

The talented, aloof upperclassman also approaches Shi Qiu and chats with him to learn more about his brother. Every time they part, he gives Shi Qiu a polite hug. The difference in their strength is so great that Shi Qiu almost feels smothered.

Then there's the gloomy, unfriendly boss at the company where Shi Qiu interns. To better curry favor with Shi Qiu's brother, he pulls Shi Qiu, whose build is similar to his brother's, into taking measurements and tailoring clothes by hand. But why does he need to measure even that tiny bit of fabric?

Now that Shi Qiu thinks about it, those things only started going missing after these men showed up.

They all have perfectly good reasons for being around him, but for some reason, Shi Qiu feels that something isn't quite right. So he tells his younger brother everything that's happened lately.

His brother smiles until his eyes curve, wraps his arms around Shi Qiu's waist, and rubs his chin against his shoulder. "Brother, they want to pursue me. Learning what I like, knowing my measurements, and making sure I'm comfortable are the bare minimum. Otherwise, what right would they have to be with me?"

His brother adds, "Brother, they're practicing on you so they'll treat me better in the future. You're all I have, so of course you want me to be happy. That means you'll personally choose the person who's best for me, right?"

His brother says one more thing: "Brother, it's fine that you're straight. Just help me vet them, so I don't foolishly let them take advantage of me."

Shi Qiu still feels that something is off, but he wants his brother to be happy. So even if he feels a little uncomfortable, he continues to cooperate.

But...

After waking up in his dorm room, he finds tiny red marks on his body.

If he spends too long alone with the upperclassman, he gets incredibly sleepy.

The underwear his boss buys for him always feels a little damp, and he has no idea why.

When his rivals meet, they fight over his water cup and covet the half-eaten popsicle in his mouth. The way they look at each other is almost murderous, their hostility spiraling out of control.

Even as a straight man, Shi Qiu can tell that these changes are very wrong. Terrified, he tells his younger brother about his fears. That night, he falls into a bizarre, fantastical dream.

In the dream, his brother is no longer pure and innocent. Something strange seems to twist behind him as he grits his teeth and curses the three familiar figures beside him:

"Idiots! Brother almost found out!"

Shi Qiu sees four pairs of identical eyes, cold and savage, yet filled with intense obsession and desire when they look at him.

The next day, he wakes up in his school dorm. His brother says he didn't come home last night, but Shi Qiu finds evidence in his room that he did.

Now even his brother is acting strange.

Shi Qiu stumbles away in a panic and accidentally falls into the arms of the newly appointed head of the Lu family. The man is gentle, refined, and dependable, and carefully soothes Shi Qiu's anxiety. The other four figures haunt him like nightmares, and only by Lu Jingbai's side can he feel safe.

Until one day, he accidentally sees four familiar figures twisting in the shadow of the man as he showers.
