Everyone says that Young Master Jiang is a playboy who treats life like a game.
But no one knows that he once clumsily gave someone his genuine love.
Jiang Yi and Zhao Min were together for three years. Zhao Min was always lukewarm toward him. Jiang Yi was the one who reached out, while Zhao Min merely accepted his advances.
Then one day, Zhao Min grew tired of it and broke up with him. He didn't even deign to give Jiang Yi the chance to ask him to stay.
Five years later, Zhao Min had gone from a celebrated young chemical engineering prodigy to a rising business tycoon. Everyone praised his integrity and honorable conduct.
At a crowded cocktail party, the lights crisscrossed above them.
Zhao Min's gaze fell on Jiang Yi. His Adam's apple bobbed as he watched the unfamiliar man beside him, his heart twisting in pain.
Jiang Yi put an arm around his companion, took the grape he offered, and slipped a hotel key card into the man's tie clip. He leaned in and whispered, "Wait for me."
Zhao Min's heart sank. His face turned deathly pale, and he was about to stand.
Jiang Yi swept his companion upstairs, making a show of it. The crowd began teasing him: this was Young Master Jiang's fifth partner.
Jiang Yi smiled. "I'm getting married. I'll settle down soon."
Later, word got out that Young Master Jiang was going to settle down for his fiance.
Zhao Min stood outside Jiang Yi's apartment building, waiting from daylight until the early hours of the morning.
The streetlight stretched his lonely shadow across the ground. He was no longer the composed man he used to be. He grabbed Jiang Yi by the wrist and demanded, "Why are you marrying someone you've only known for three months?"
Jiang Yi had just gotten out of his car. He gave a faint, mocking smile. "Are you here to give me a wedding present, Mr. Zhao?"
Zhao Min stepped forward and blocked his way.
"Don't get married. Be with me..." Zhao Min's voice was low. "Can we get back together?"
"Get back together?" Jiang Yi looked up and said, each word clear and deliberate, "Get lost."
The writing is amateurish. This is a fictional setting. Any overlap with real-world place names is coincidental. Both the top and bottom have flawed personalities; neither is perfect. The top pursues his ex in a dramatic mess, then suffers the consequences.
The top is the ex. He's not a scumbag; it's all due to misunderstandings. Zhao is the top, Jiang is the bottom. No switching.
During the flashback, the top is quite poor, from a humble background. When they meet again, he's a CEO.
Important: The relationship between the top and bottom develops only after the bottom's relationship with his current partner has ended. The values in this story do not represent the author's own, and it does not promote immoral behavior.
Theme: Cherish what you have
""07, 12 Million! ..."It was more than 14 million above, but now it's 12 million.
The writing is quite good. It would be nice if the emotional changes could be more subtle. I feel like I didn't like any of the characters in the first dozens of chapters. This one suddenly softened (I'm just saying it casually, not as a guide to writing. The author should do his own thing)
How can you be so perfect when you can't feel any pain at all and still like to attack?
I stayed up late to read it, and I checked in when it was finished 💪
Very nice teacher!! Finish spreading flowers
The ending is a surprise, looking forward to the next book 🤩
I want to watch sweet post-wedding extras
It's locked, I hate it so much😭
Why is it suddenly tied? No, 😭 😭
So exciting, so exciting, so exciting 🌈 🌈
