Glibberish 2 is an open-world, full-dive game set in a Western fantasy world. It took the world by storm soon after its release.
In the game, players take on the role of heroes, with the ultimate goal of defeating the lord of Hamburger City, the one and only Demon King, Sadius.
It's a classic tale of a hero fighting a dragon, but the compelling story, meticulous details, and lighthearted writing have drawn a crowd of archaeologists to the forums, where they try to unravel the life of the Demon King Sadius.
#Why did the solitary Elf King submit to the Demon King?#
#Based on the diary of Gabriel, the Demon King's personal guard, it seems Gabriel once deeply resented the Demon King!#
#A Closer Look at the Demon King: Just how many loyal followers does he have?#
#Revealed: The Demon King's true race!#
These posts set off heated debate on the forums, with everyone offering their own theories.
Meanwhile, players who had reached the final step of the main quest were starting to voice their outrage:
#Devs, show yourselves! Is the main quest really this hard just to make us pay?#
#I'm quitting. What a joke. Hamburger City is full of stat monsters.#
They complained, but kept playing.
Thanks to its polished technology and unmatched immersion, and because the game really was fun apart from the final boss, its popularity stayed high, with daily active players growing by the day.
Until one day, a post appeared on the forums:
#Eye Candy: Holy crap, the Demon King is this handsome? I'd be happy to be his dog too!!!#
The attached pictures showed the Demon King from all sorts of strange angles. Some were shots of his back, others showed his face. They were a little blurry, but clear enough to see his impossibly handsome features.
The Demon King sat on his throne in elaborate white robes, his silver eyes lazily surveying the people below. Several followers, each with a different look, had set aside the savagery they showed when fighting players and knelt in two neat rows at his feet.
Light and shadow divided the scene, but favored the supreme king alone, framing his grand entrance.
"??? Why didn't the official account share something this good sooner? I admit I was way too harsh on them before."
"So big... I mean, so pale."
"Get those pants back on."
"Am I the only one wondering how the original poster took these?"
Original poster: "All I did was max out my health, have my teammates tank a billion hits, and drink a few dozen healing potions. That's all. (smile)"

Nemo woke up and found himself in a strange place.
He tried to move his arms and legs, only to find he seemed to be tied up.
The cramped, dark space reeked of something rotten and nauseating. Instruments of torture hung all over the walls, a horrifying sight.
It looked like a dungeon.
It seemed familiar, a little like the game.
Just then, footsteps sounded in the distance.
The other person was half-hidden in shadow, but as a devoted player of Glibberish 2, Nemo recognized that signature silver hair at a glance:
Gabriel, the Demon King's personal guard.
Had he been transported into the game?
Suddenly, the sound of a blade slicing through the air rang in Nemo's ears.
Gabriel drew the silver sword at his waist and swung it in a chilling arc. He paused, then pointed the blade at Nemo's brow.
"Sadius, traitor and assassin of the Demon King Rex. Gabriel, personal guard, has come to execute you."
"Atone for your sins with your blood."
Hearing the familiar name from Gabriel, Nemo understood everything.
He had become the young version of the Demon King, and was now being executed for attempting to assassinate the previous Demon King, Rex.
But the game had never mentioned that the Demon King used to be a double agent!!!

Before the curtain of night is torn away and the triumphant song of dawn begins, the solitary throne stands ever waiting, empty.
It waits in silence for its master, the supreme king of this world.
Now, he has arrived.
The black-haired, silver-eyed young man steps onto the throne. Behind him comes the sound of people kneeling in unison.
"We will be the blades in your hands, cutting down every obstacle in your path."
This story features a loyal guard (later on), a brother obsessed with his older sibling (possibly an undead?), and a pseudo father-son threesome.
Theme: Yummy, yummy.
