The Beautiful Impostor Under Watch [Sentinel/Guide]

Tang Wanyi has a sweet, innocent face and is an artificial person with no common sense. He has no idea that he transmigrated into a book, becoming a noble family's illegitimate child in a Sentinel-and-Guide novel, and that his family arranged for him to work in the Tower.

He heard that the White Tower was full of spirit forms shaped like adorable animals, and couldn't wait to apply.

Tang Wanyi couldn't read the sentinels' expressions. He just thought his coworkers were huge, cold, and quiet.

That suited him fine. He didn't like dealing with people, and would rather focus on soothing all the fluffy spirit forms.

He found the purification process blissful, and his treatments were remarkably effective.

To spend more time petting the fluffies and feeling happy, he asked to perform deeper purification.

Later, the sentinels went out of their way to talk to him. They loved kneading his little cat-worms and even said they were willing to be his dogs.

They even fought over whose spirit form he would pet first.

Tang Wanyi: ?

Actually, he could grow lots of tentacles and pet them all at once.

S-rank sentinels are powerful, but their mental states are extremely unstable. Like cold, arrogant, and savage beasts, they are kept inside the White Tower and expected to remain free of worldly desires. Their only solace is a guide.

At first, the sentinels looked down on the newly arrived C-rank guide, thinking he was weak and slow. They bet on when he would run out of mental energy, be unable to endure the misery of having a low compatibility rating, and go home in tears.

But they couldn't help being drawn to the guide and wanting to earn his favor.

The sentinels, who knew only how to fight, developed desires and humbly lowered their proud heads, begging for the touch of his fingertips.
