The good news: It turns out he's the protagonist of a rebirth story!
The bad news: This is... his first life! And the survival System showed up too early by mistake!
After the survival System came looking for him, Ling Xu memorized lottery numbers, stocks about to rise, even the answers to the college entrance exams, all overnight. He was ready for anything and just waiting to start over in another life, only for the System to tell him that he had to follow the plot of being killed by someone in his previous life in order to be reborn.

1. A knife-wielding thug attacks someone by the roadside. The bystanders scatter in terror, but Ling Xu charges over at top speed and kicks him. "What are you looking at? I'm kicking you! So what if you've got a knife?"
Another kick. "Why are you waving that knife at me? You want to cut me? Then do it! Cut me!"
He unleashes a furious barrage of kicks. "I said, cut me! Can't you understand, you useless piece of trash?!"
2. He confronts a serial killer. "I've handed the police all the evidence I found after following you day and night for the past few days! You can't escape! What, you want to kill me? You're getting the death penalty either way. You could at least vent your anger by killing me, but do you dare?"
3. He runs into an old rival. Instead of pretending not to see him as usual, he sneers, "If you can't stand me so much, then kill me! Or are you just not capable? If you can't do it, why do you bark like a dog every day? I'll say it again: if you've got the guts, kill me!"
For the sake of being reborn, Ling Xu is always on the front lines, provoking people and stirring up hatred. He treats everyone the same, no matter their identity or status, hoping that casting a wide net will catch some lawless criminal... But it seems things never go as planned. Instead, more and more people gather around him.
