The Apocalypse's Beloved Little Monster

The apocalypse has arrived. Zombies roam the land, plants and animals mutate, and one disaster follows another.

Chu Nian is a little monster from the apocalypse. Even he doesn't know what he is, but that doesn't matter: he has a huge territory.

One day, a group of two-legged beasts moved in beside his territory.

Chu Nian was so angry he tore his book in half. "Gugu gu!" Those two-legged beasts wanted his territory? He'd go investigate the enemy!

Fu Yan established a safe zone beside a forest. They say a monster lives in the forest, but that doesn't matter. It's nice to have a mountain at your back.

But he found that the monster was actually tiny... He looked down at the little creature, who didn't even reach his waist. But don't be fooled by his size. He's the local ruler, and he can tear apart a seventh-tier zombie just like that.

"What's your name?" Fu Yan tried to communicate with him.

"Gugu gu!" Chu Nian shouted at him.

"..." Fu Yan thought, Looks like the little monster can't talk. He's probably illiterate, too.

Later, Fu Yan made him the "Mountain God," and he began friendly exchanges with the safe zone.

Then an argument broke out at the city gate.

"Mountain God, I brought you the most authentic mapo tofu today."

"That dish is too spicy. Mountain God, our Peking duck is the most delicious."

"Our Lanzhou noodles are the best!"

"Sliced noodles are the greatest!"

Chu Nian: "Gugu gu." Leave it all here, leave it all here!

That night, Chu Nian turned Fu Yan's bed into his own nest. "I'll share half with you."

Fu Yan looked down at him. "What's this?"

Chu Nian jumped up and wrapped his arms and legs around him. "It's a nest."

Fu Yan smiled and patted the horns on his head.

Chu Nian shouted, "Dad!"

Fu Yan: "..." How did I become a dad out of nowhere?
