The next book up for preorder is "Fluffy Fur Is Not a Little Green Tea": a socially anxious comic artist vs. an illiterate fluffy creature (little demon version). The blurb is at the very end. If you like it, please add it to your favorites~
A cuddly cat princess vs. a tsundere, aloof woman who says one thing but means another
(Important: the story is told from the bottom’s perspective. Although the top appears first, the whole story leans toward the princess’s point of view, so don’t mix up their roles~)
One day, Zhaoning fell into the water. When she opened her eyes again, she was already a thousand years in the future.
There, she met an incredibly kind person who let her eat and stay for free, and took her out to enjoy delicious food and fun activities.
The only problem was that this kind person didn’t seem to have much money. Her carriage had no roof, and her kitchen didn’t have a single thing, not even firewood, rice, oil, salt, soy sauce, vinegar, or tea. Every morning, they could only fill their stomachs with bitter, astringent black bean juice.
Zhaoning gave her the only thing she had left, a green jade hairpin, hoping she could sell it for money and improve her living conditions.
Later, when it became clear that there was no hope of transmigrating back, Zhaoning felt the crushing pressure of having to make a living. Without Song Yuan knowing, she worked hard every day, planting crops and selling goods, until she had finally saved up a little money.
Then, one day, after an argument, she resolutely left home with her cat.
Song Yuan hurried to catch up with her.
The princess flew into a small rage. “Were you following me?”
Song Yuan asked, “Could it be that I got a payment notification?”
Zhaoning said, “Nonsense! I have my own money, and I used my own account!”
Song Yuan looked at the balance on Zhaoning’s phone screen. It was for the hottest full-dive farming game around.
Song Yuan: “...”
No wonder she’d used her real name for her character.
On the day of her eighteenth birthday, a severely injured, unconscious woman appeared out of nowhere in Song Yuan’s home.
The woman was dressed in soaking wet ancient-style clothes. When she woke up, she said her name was Zhaoning and that she had come from the Tang Dynasty.
Song Yuan, of course, didn’t believe any of that nonsense about transmigrating. She suspected Zhaoning had an ulterior motive and had been sent by the people at the old family estate.
She played along with Zhaoning’s act. After observing her for a few days, she took a contract out in her study to test her.
Zhaoning took the paper. Her expression shifted from relaxed to grave, then from grave to livid. At last, unable to hold back, she tossed it onto the desk and delivered her scathing verdict: “Hideous!”
Song Yuan looked at the contract in front of her, bearing her own signature. Her gaze went from scrutinizing to doubtful, then from doubtful to icy: “...”
Song Yuan: I really hate people who don’t know their boundaries.
And yet this person who had no sense of boundaries kept pushing past them, one by one.
Smart home assistant robot 275: “It’s been a long time since Miss smiled this happily. You’re done for, you’ve fallen in love~”
Love? What a joke!
Putting on an act with her? That was just to get her to talk!
Taking her shopping? That was just to jog her memory!
Sharing a bed with her? That was professional dedication as an actress!
Seeing through her lies but deceiving herself anyway? That was putting the bigger picture first!
Buying a detached house with an indoor pool because she wanted to learn to swim? The property deed had Song Yuan’s name on it, after all!
What? She wanted to keep her distance from Song Yuan?! And she’d run away from home?
With an icy expression, Song Yuan rushed to a small hotel with her driver and bodyguards in tow.
Her gleaming shoes clicked across the creaking wooden floorboards. Song Yuan strode forward, her jaw tight and her whole bearing hard and cold.
The next second, her eyes reddened. She unwound her scarf and walked up to the princess, wrapping its warm, soft fabric around her icy hands, layer by layer.
“You can kiss me. Come home with me, okay?”
Bonus scene:
The princess wanted to work hard and earn money, so besides selling her calligraphy, she also tutored Song Yuan in calligraphy.
After months of lessons, she asked Song Yuan, “After the imperial examinations in June, would you like to become a calligrapher?”
Song Yuan lowered her eyes coolly and dropped her brush. “No.”
The princess let out a long sigh of relief. “Good. Otherwise I’d have to call the police.”
Song Yuan flew into an embarrassed rage. “Is it really that bad?”
“No.” The princess shook her head. “It doesn’t look like you’ve studied at all.”
Song Yuan: “...”
What do you do when your wife catches your sharp tongue? Asking for a friend. It’s kind of urgent.
"Fluffy Fur Is Not a Little Green Tea"
A socially anxious comic artist vs. an illiterate fluffy creature (little demon version)
Bai Shuangshuang is a little calico kitten, a member of the cat family, genus Felis, species catus.
Then, one day, in some year and some month, the little calico unexpectedly cultivated a human form.
From then on, the good old days of her owner earning money for her to spend were over.
She had to get a job and earn money, but before that, she had to get up at the crack of dawn and go to school.
She had to learn the basics of human society and how to imitate humans.
Most importantly, she absolutely could not let humans discover that she was a cat.
On top of that, she had to obey the countless house rules Tao Ran had come up with.
1. If she wanted beef, she could buy it at a restaurant. She was not allowed to catch a live cow at an amusement park.
2. She was not allowed to follow the neighbors around and call them Mom and Dad, then snatch chicken legs from their pot. Stealing was out of the question, too.
3. TV dramas were fake. She couldn’t just accuse people of poisoning her, especially when a silver needle was stuck into a black sesame tangyuan.
4. She couldn’t copy her classmates’ homework, let alone beat them up for refusing to let her copy it, even if the classmate was a dog.
5. She couldn’t eat the pothos, spider plants, or money trees in hot pot restaurants. Boiling them didn’t make it okay, and pouring the broth into a money tree was especially forbidden.
6. She couldn’t beat up her coworkers at the zoo...
Human society was so annoying. There were rules against everything.
Humans weren’t annoying, though. Tao Ran was among them~
But Tao Ran wouldn’t even admit she was her girlfriend! The cat got mad, the cat ran away from home, and the cat was threatened with being made a defendant if she didn’t come back.
The cat was wronged. The cat was sad. But at least Tao Ran admitted who she was.
Fine, Tao Ran was only a tiny bit annoying. The cat supposed she could forgive her.
The stray cat Tao Ran brought home turned into a human.
On the first day she became human, a group of demons claiming to be from the Demon Administration Bureau came to register her.
After the registration, Tao Ran became the guardian of Haji Mi. She had to cooperate with Haji Mi’s school lessons in human culture, teach her about daily life, help her learn how to communicate normally with humans without revealing her identity, and assist her in fitting into human society as quickly as possible.
Tao Ran felt like she had become a mother without even giving birth. On the first day she sent the cat to school, she asked her when she got home, “What were your classmates like?”
The cat said, “They were all different. Some were greasy, while others were really refreshing.”
Tao Ran nodded. She was just about to remind the cat to pay attention to hygiene when the cat continued, “Some were soft and sticky, and others were really crispy.”
Tao Ran: “!!!!!!!!”
“You went to school, not a cafeteria!!!”
After some time studying, Tao Ran sent Haji Mi to take the Demon Administration Bureau’s cultural assessment exam, full of worries.
Before the results came out, a child who had come along tried to reassure her.
“Don’t worry. In the past, communities were isolated, so it was easy to spot a stranger in the neighborhood. Now everyone lives online, and everyone’s a little crazy, so you can’t tell if someone’s a monster. The exams have been made a lot easier to match.”
Even with the easier exam, Haji Mi scored three points.
Out of a hundred and fifty.
Tao Ran said, “An apricot is the fruit of a ginkgo tree? A peach is the fruit of a walnut tree? Didn’t Director Fox stress those common mistakes over and over? You didn’t remember a single thing?”
Haji Mi held her tail straight up and looked innocent. “...I vaguely remember him talking about it.”
Tao Ran laughed in exasperation. “What do you remember clearly, then?”
Haji Mi looked utterly sincere. “I clearly remember not listening while he was talking.”
Tao Ran: “...”
Oh, heavens! When will these miserable days of helping the kid with her homework finally end?
Bonus scene:
Bai Shuangshuang left home in a huff because Tao Ran wouldn’t agree to be her girlfriend.
When Tao Ran got home and saw the place empty, she hurriedly called her.
Tao Ran: “Where are you?”
Bai Shuangshuang scoffed. “What, now that I’m gone, you finally realize how empty the house feels? I’m not coming back unless you let me be your girlfriend. Deal with it!”
Tao Ran took a deep breath. She looked at the completely empty wardrobe, bathroom, kitchen, and living room, the vein at her temple throbbing.
“Listen, running away from home and stripping the place bare are two different things. If you don’t come back right now, you can change your name to Defendant!”
A world where humans and monsters coexist
(The first few chapters will be revised when the story begins.)
Theme: Growing together and warming one another
It's very interesting. I feel that this article is very good both in terms of concept and character design. I really like Song Yuan and Zhao Ning's character design. I like it very much! From the setting point of view, they complement each other and are unique to each other. The bickering between the two people is also very interesting, haha, so the author is also very interesting. However, maybe they are all gentle people, so they always feel that the plot seems to lack some explosive points? I feel that jj is more interested in writing articles with tension and strong plot conflicts. I suggest the author to use more force when writing the copy points, which are the turning points of the plot. (Not to exaggerate deliberately, but to extend the anticipation of the hook). Of course, if this conflicts with the warm daily feeling, it is better to write according to the author's own ideas. It is a very pleasant experience of pursuing the article. Please author to create more 💪
Finally ❤️! But I'm still confused. The little princess's behavior in the closet that day really seemed like she didn't understand!!
Just going like this [Panda Head][Panda Head]
Finished spreading flowers! How many details happened between this chapter and the previous one!
It turns out that the meaning of the title is this 😭 It's so good
Ah, the writing is not bad
I have read your wife's replies and Q&A carefully. Thank you~ I learned a lot about it. There is another kind of joy when I see my wife's reply, that is, I can feel that my wife is still active in Jinjiang, which makes me feel that it is just around the corner that you can finish writing the serial article. Once again, I will always follow you ❤️ The writing style is really cute, and the control of the text is also easy to control.
In fact, I think the size is just right. The author's writing style is relatively relaxed and everyday, which matches the word count very well. By the end of the article, both people have achieved transformation and growth (especially Zhao Ning, which is particularly good). It is precisely because the plot setting is more of a two-person relationship and there is no complicated character relationship, so naturally the emotional and growth lines of the two protagonists are the main line. Except for the character design of Song Yuan and the background of the future of science and technology (I was surprised to find that these two are complementary to each other), the reading experience is almost perfect. My wife has an extraordinary writing style, and I will always follow you.
Well written, Madam, this book is like a book with a little princess as the heroine, carefully recording her growth and changes.
Song Yuan still didn't know that Zhao Ning had really traveled through time that day. .
