Yue Zhiyao is a wage slave at an otome game company. She's a woman, and she likes men.
The company's newly released medicine-simulator game, A Cauldron from the Start, boasts exquisite character models and a highly explorable open world.
It's a proper game, but its NPCs are anything but proper. Besides their stunning faces, every inch of them, expected or otherwise, has been meticulously sculpted to impressive proportions. Their dialogue options are incredibly flexible, drawing a huge crowd of players into role-playing chats.
Yue Zhiyao is one of them.
Her life is as bland as plain porridge, but her mouth is filthy. Every time her awful boss makes her work overtime or docks her bonus, she goes into the game and torments an NPC. With a vicious expression and one outrageous stunt after another, she forces the NPCs, whether aloof, arrogant, violent, or obedient, to blush and stammer out forbidden words, admitting that there's something seriously wrong with them.
Among them are:
NPC 1, a proud aristocrat who has been coughing for a hundred years without getting better, shows up at the medicine lodge every few days for treatment, and eventually becomes convinced he's contracted an incurable disease: mouth cancer.
NPC 2, a gorgeous sect ancestor forced to admit he's sick because he loves wearing crotchless pants.
NPC 3, an aloof master forced to say a hundred times that he's a good little dog who loves taking medicine.
NPC 10086...
After tormenting one NPC after another until they were red in the face, she transmigrated into the game.
Yue Zhiyao had just finished running her mouth. As she watched the NPCs storm over to settle the score, she squeezed her eyes shut and shakily delivered her last words: "A-actually, I'm sick too...
I'm afraid of men.
My symptoms are... I fear what I get."
Content warning: One-on-one relationships at each stage. It's probably a story about "she doesn't want it, but they insist on giving it to her."
Theme: Make friends with courtesy and respect others.
