The Little Whale Base's Live-In Son-in-Law Trial

Before the apocalypse broke out, Lu Wenjing teamed up with his childhood friend Shen Tingchao to save the future savior.

He got a System that helped the savior earn points and learn survival skills.

But the final task before he could disconnect from it had to do with his childhood friend.

---- Bring the savior together with his love interest, Shen Tingchao.

The two of them were talented and well-matched, a destined couple.

The more Lu Wenjing observed them, the more he admired them, yet something in him ached whenever he tried to bring them together.

When the destined couple finally had a heart-to-heart on the rooftop and he disconnected from the System, Lu Wenjing left the base to begin a new journey.

Only when he crossed Shen Tingchao's name off the list of people traveling with him did Lu Wenjing finally realize: he had been in love with this man for years.

Shen Tingchao has been feeling confused lately.

His childhood friend is as straight as they come, so he can only hide his feelings carefully. He doesn't dare let his jealousy show, not even a little.

He doesn't dare ask Lu Wenjing why he's suddenly taking an interest in a stranger, where he learned all those skills, or who the friends are that make his eyes shine when he talks about them.

He wants to keep their friendship forever, right up until their hair turns white.

Then one day, his little sun starts avoiding him, and eventually disappears.

Later, Shen Tingchao has to go to great lengths to find the castle where the treasure is hidden. But guarding it are several formidable dragons and the fiercely protective people of the city.

"You're not taking him away, and joining the base will take a whole series of tests!"

"Are you ready?"

Much later, after they confess their feelings and become a couple, Shen Tingchao still gets bedding thrown at him by the cleaning staff whenever he tries to enter Lu Wenjing's room.

Until one night, after the base's lights go out and everyone is fast asleep,

his sun appears with a pillow in his arms, his eyes brighter than starlight.
