Finding Honeysuckle

Tough childhood sweetheart x gentle childhood sweetheart | A sweet, healing reunion after years apart

-

After the college entrance exams, Song Xi set off alone for the city where her university was. She was gone for five years.

Five years later, the wintersweet bloomed, and Song Xi returned to her hometown.

Her village, Rong Village, had transformed into the most beautiful village in the country.

She wandered around taking pictures like a tourist, when she suddenly spotted a coffee shop.

Who opens a coffee shop in the countryside? What were they thinking?

She had to see which business genius came up with that idea.

She should have left it alone.

The moment she saw him, she couldn't move.

That business genius was none other than her childhood sweetheart,

Qin Chao.

-

When Qin Chao greeted her with the simplest, most distant two words, "Hello," Song Xi answered with the same two words, but made her voice even more affected and cold.

A few hours later, neither of them could keep up the act.

Qin Chao made her an offer: "Song Xiaoxi, want to earn a little extra money?"

Song Xi: "Who turns down money?"

A few days later.

Song Xi: "Qin Chao, aren't you my client? Why are you chasing after me every day like a debt collector?"

Qin Chao: "What debt collector is as easygoing as I am? Don't you think... I'm more like your dog?"
