Meeting Mu Chuan

Bad-Boy Charmer x Fake Good Girl

Instant Attraction | Reunited After a Breakup | Bittersweet Push and Pull | Winning Her Back

The first thing Jiang Mu said to Chen Chuan was, "I've never dated a man as handsome as you. Will you be my boyfriend?"

Chen Chuan was used to being hit on like that.

He rested one hand on his glass and stared straight at her, his smile mocking and suggestive. "Funny, I've never slept with a good girl like you either. Want to give it a try?"

-

The night Chen Chuan left, Jiang Mu stood aboard the boat and watched him go without asking him to stay.

Long ago, Chen Chuan had told her he couldn't keep liking the same person forever. He wanted every relationship to end with dignity.

To preserve the dignity he wanted, she let him go quietly and obediently.

When they met again,

he was still carefree and wild, but with her, he wouldn't stop closing in.

Jiang Mu wasn't some naive fool who knew nothing about men and women. Pinned against the wall by him, she asked hoarsely, "You said that once we broke up, we shouldn't keep bothering each other. What is this now?"

Chen Chuan leaned close and gazed into her eyes, giving a self-mocking smile. "It means I was a blind bastard back then."
