Lin Lang and Ji Qing have known each other since childhood. They fought their way up from a remote mountain village, buying a house and car outright and acquiring luxury watches. They are lovers and business partners, so familiar with each other they know one another to the bone.
But in the thirteenth year of their marriage, after finally making it official and registering their marriage, they become estranged spouses living apart and unable to stand the sight of each other.

Meanwhile, twenty-year-old Lin Lang wakes up in his thirty-five-year-old self's body and stares wide-eyed at Ji Qing, dressed in a suit.
Ji Qing, also thirty-five, speaks to him in a matter-of-fact tone. “Since you're awake, let's get back to discussing the divorce and how to divide our assets.”
Lin Lang is overjoyed. “We're married?”
A little while later, he becomes wary. “What divorce? What division of assets? I refuse!!!”
*A story about young Lin and young Ji helping their older selves find their love again. 1v1, devoted to each other, both clean and each other's first love. No supporting characters with one-sided crushes on either lead.
*In this world, same-sex couples can marry.
*Later on, the older Lin and younger Lin will each transmigrate back.
