You En Bellbrook knew perfectly well that he was different from everyone else. He couldn't feel the slightest change in his emotions and lacked even the most basic ability to empathize.
Year after year, he pretended to be cheerful, acting as if he were a normal person.
Then he discovered football. Good heavens, who knew football could be so addictive? Every goal, every victory filled him with such joy that his fingertips trembled.
And so, the football world's mercenary had arrived in all his glory. You En was born to pursue honor and victory.
The protagonist has emotional deficiency syndrome and cannot feel emotions. Only playing football lets him feel that his existence has meaning. Football is his salvation.
There is no CP in this story. Frog will give him the maximum amount of wish fulfillment, for example (drops to his knees and slides). Sorry, France fans, but I'm butterfly-effecting one of your World Cups away and giving it to him.
There are one-sided feelings in the story. The protagonist is a block of wood, with nothing in his heart but that football.
