"Incomprehensible! Disgusting! A cheap trick! A liar!" The girl's face turned crimson with anger, her eyes brighter than the firelight. As George approached, she backed away until she slammed into the wall.
"What now? You've got nowhere left to run, Miss High-and-Mighty Lesemel." George grinned. One hand braced against the wall while the other grabbed her arm. He put on a serious face to scare her. "Next, you're going to get a special revenge from the king of pranks."
"You wouldn't dare! Get away from me! You disgusting Gryffindor! You vile scum! If I were you, I'd be too ashamed to show my face! You should be ashamed of your family! If you dare pull any of your awful pranks on me, I'll make you regret it! You're finished! You... your family... all of you..." She hurled every insult she could think of at him. It wasn't exactly pleasant. Who knew that her voice could hurt his ears when she screamed in anger?
She looked terrified, yet kept bluffing and threatening him. Her rosy lips moved nonstop, and they looked so soft. The thought came to him, and he seemed to fall under a spell.
George lowered his head and kissed her. The scent of flowers filled his senses, taking over his every thought. She really was soft. His heart was beating far too fast, faster than the first time he and Fred had successfully pulled off a prank behind their mother's back.
The girl froze.
She shoved him away, her fingers trembling as she pointed at him. "You... how dare you... how dare you..." Tears spun in her eyes, and her chest heaved.
George was still in shock at what he'd just done. Seeing her on the verge of tears left him at a loss. Stammering, he said, "Well, um... that was pretty sweet, wasn't it?"
Oh, he was an idiot. The king of pranks had actually said something that lame. He should have told a joke and asked her out.
At that, the girl grew even angrier. "I'll never let you get away with this! Who are you? Fred or George? If you think I'll be stumped just because you won't tell me, you're dead wrong! I'll get revenge on both of you! Severe revenge!"
She was so honest, she could hardly be a Slytherin. Even now, she only wanted revenge on the culprit.
Without thinking, George blurted out, "Fred!"
Fred never understood why Dystia hated him so much. Even though she was dating his dear little brother George and their relationship was going wonderfully, every time she saw him, she'd snort and turn away, displaying her pure-blood upbringing to the fullest. She was proud and aloof, with her nose in the air.
Finally, one day, after Dystia had made another sarcastic remark to Fred, George cautiously spoke up. "Um, dear Dystia, actually... actually, I was the one who kissed you in that broom closet."
Fred was finally cleared of the accusation, and the brothers got into a fight. When they came to their girlfriend, bruised and grimacing, hoping for some comfort, George was shoved away. Dystia stomped on his foot in a fury and turned to leave.
"Poor George," George said, sitting on the floor and rubbing his back. "At last, I've received the punishment I deserved."
