[Harry Potter] Puppy and Sticky Toffee Pudding

Sirius hated the Black family.

He hated the rules his mother imposed, the so-called heir's bearing he was expected to maintain, his younger brother's submissiveness, attending those tedious parties like a puppet, hearing those people say "Mudblood" at every turn, the Pure-blood Supremacy that crept into every conversation, and everything about the present.

One day, he would escape this place and destroy all its old, rotten ways, leaving behind the fools who thought themselves superior.

But he would take Anneliese with him.

Regulus had always known he was not Sirius, and he did not want to become Sirius. He was born reserved and steady, a good and obedient child. As a little boy, he listened to the voices around him, gradually absorbing and understanding them, then wrapped his ambitions in the most flawless disguise.

He was not Sirius. He believed in remaining forever pure; the Blacks were meant to be proud and pure.

Most importantly, he understood himself and Anneliese. He knew that if he followed the predetermined path, step by step, Anneliese's heart would belong to him.

A thoroughly melodramatic, clichéd love triangle, written with reckless abandon.
