After the Dog Emperor I Transmigrated With Stripped Me of My Military Power

[Battle-hardened but sickly, cheerful, goofy gong x a shou who looks like a pushy jerk but is actually a drama queen]

I died from overwork while writing my thesis, then transmigrated into a male-oriented power fantasy novel along with my pretentious roommate, who carried a cup of Starxucks around every day.

He could only act cool, so he became the leader of the rebels. I, a mixed-race fighter with asthma, became his top barbarian henchman.

When we arrived, the story had just reached the part where he put on the imperial robes and prepared to unify the realm.

But we had no idea where the robes were.

In a flash of inspiration, I draped a green burlap sack over him.

Cloth is cloth. What's the difference?

But I accidentally put it on crooked, and the sack ended up over his head.

Heh.

To survive in the chaos of war, he fought relentlessly across the land, and I fought relentlessly by his side to help him conquer it.

Several times, I nearly died from asthma. When I woke up, he would hold my hand and rub it against his firm chest, casually showing off his perfect jawline.

He said that once he conquered the realm, he would give me half of it.

He broke his promise.

In his first year as emperor, he took away my title of Grand Marshal of the Armies, stripped me of power, and sent me off to be a court historian.

Other emperors offered their generals wine to persuade them to surrender their military power. He said I couldn't drink because of my asthma.

He wouldn't even give me a sip.

Ha. So much for brotherhood. He really did stab me in the back.

From then on, my job was to record his harem.

But there was no one in his harem, just two pug dogs, and I didn't even have to feed them.

So all I could do was accept a monthly salary of one hundred thousand taels, spend every day doing nothing, and weep on a ten-meter-long bed.

Wait.

This ten-meter-long bed looks a lot like the imperial dragon bed.

Haha, brother, what a mess you've made of things.

I told you to be careful about choosing an empress. Who the hell told you to make me your empress???

[Bonus Scene]

Ministers: Your Majesty, you've rewarded the Empress twenty times this month. You can't reward her again!

Wen Xianqi: Why not? The Empress has borne me a precious child. Reward her again.

Precious child: Meow?

Qin Choule, holding a Persian kitten: ?

Are you insulting me?!
