I Became a Tentacle Monster After Being Corrupted

[Third-person narration, an amnesiac, silly, tea-loving researcher seme who doesn't realize it x a researcher uke who wants to cure his suddenly silly partner]

In this world, aberrations run rampant, and they are opposed to humanity.

I, Wen Liu, am a tentacle monster.

I have a human partner. To keep me from being captured, he hid me in his wardrobe.

Recently, whenever he comes home, he sighs and stares at me with a worried look.

But as a tentacle monster, all I can do is kiss and cuddle, tend the flowers, and cook. I'm no good for anything else.

"You don't want me anymore?"

I look at him, overcome with sorrow. "There's an impassable gulf between tentacles and humans. We're just not right for each other."

He sighs as he wipes down my tentacles, looking at me with pity.

"A Liu, stop watching melodramatic soap operas from the last century."

Qin Ge is at his wit's end.

His partner, Wen Liu, has an S-rank plant-type ability, but he's had terrible luck. While doing research, he was mentally corrupted by an aberration. There were no serious side effects, except that every day he imagines he's a freak with tentacles.

The man who used to be sharp and capable, whose mind was harder to read than the base's main gate, and who would haggle over every vegetable, has turned into a complete idiot.

Qin Ge has no choice but to trick him into staying home.

Every day when he opens the door after work, he finds Wen Liu stretching out his vines. They impatiently undo the buttons on his shirt and snake into places that are not fit to describe.

Meeting Wen Liu's clear yet foolish gaze, Qin Ge falls into a deep silence.

He can't help feeling Wen Liu is deliberately taking liberties with him.

Too bad he has no proof.
