Fashion magazine editor-in-chief x powerful businessman in Hong Kong's elite circles
A dazzling, heartless heiress x a wicked, roguishly handsome heir
As the heiress of the Shi family, Shi Sheng had dated countless men from a young age and had very high standards.
While studying in the United States, Shi Sheng dated a top-tier handsome man.
Wen Shiyue, heir to one of Hong Kong's most prominent families, was half Chinese and half American, proud, unruly, and carefree.
Brown, slightly wavy hair. Light-colored eyes.
Exceptional bone structure, with a single black earring.
No one could tame this unruly stray dog. No one except Shi Sheng.
She was famous in their circle for taming men.
Shi Sheng had never truly invested in this relationship.
When she'd had enough, she ended it.
-
To this day, no one understands why the young master was dumped so suddenly.
The night before they broke up, they spent one wild night together.
The next morning, a bank card containing ten million.
The heiress's breakup money.
"I'm bored. We're done."
Shi Sheng returned to China without another word.
When Wen Shiyue woke, he glanced around the empty room and gave a mocking laugh, casually turning the bank card over in his hand as a cold look flashed in his eyes.
"Shengsheng, you forced my hand..."
he murmured. Then his hand suddenly tightened, snapping the bank card into pieces.
-
Shi Sheng couldn't believe her rotten luck.
How had her arranged-marriage partner turned out to be the ex-boyfriend she'd dumped?
The night they reunited.
In a dimly lit room.
The man slowly straightened his cuffs. His earring set off his sharp brows, and his gaze was fierce.
He pressed closer with every step, the curve of his lips growing more pronounced. He drawled, "What a shame. I was too good to you, and now you've grown bold."
"Since that's how it is, we'll do things my way."
Shi Sheng's back was against the wall. She had nowhere to retreat. She looked at him, her eyes utterly cold, and said, "I'm warning you, don't try anything. We broke up."
Wen Shiyue gave a nonchalant tug at the corner of his mouth and looked down at her. "Did I ever agree to break up?"
Shi Sheng tried to turn away from him, but the man's large hand clamped around the back of her neck.
With the slightest pressure, he pinned her against his chest, leaving her unable to move.
Wen Shiyue, no longer the obedient man he'd been before, bent down and slowly leaned toward her, his voice low.
"From now on, you'll please me. If you don't know how, learn."
"It was all because I wanted it, after all."
"I only want to be your little dog."
