[Western Crossover] The Adventures of Deadwing

AKA Dick Nightwing Grayson. While protecting Earth, his soul unexpectedly leaves his body and gets caught in the cracks between worlds.

The World Consciousness looks left and right, then lets out a piercing shriek.

Where did my Nightwing go!!!!

It looks at the multicolored Dick, at a complete loss.

Dick can't get back into his body.

"So what do we do?" The multicolored Dick stares expressionlessly at the World Consciousness.

Dick's mind is blank. He's lost his memories and emotions.

What do we do!!!!

I've got it!

The World Consciousness comes up with a "great" plan.

"Look me in the eyes and tell me again, what am I supposed to do?"

Dick looks at the row of "Deadwing" shells in front of him.

"What am I supposed to do wearing these shells?!"

The World Consciousness turns into a little blue bird and lands on Dick's head.

"Quick! Go get your body back!"

"????"

"Don't you have any normal bodies?"

"No, the others are all alive."

"..."

After putting on the shells, Dick can't help making alarming remarks.

Fine…

Fxxk! Why are there side effects too!!!!

Batman watches as what appears to be his son from a parallel world, looking bizarre, comes to steal his son.

He beats one away, and another takes his place. He beats that one, and another comes along.

He is deeply confused.

"Why does everyone keep trying to steal my son!"

Dick, after failing again and again, is deeply confused.

"Why can't I ever get him back!!"

In other worlds, Batmen stare at the empty coffins where their Deadwings should be.

Why does this look so familiar?

Jason: Does it look familiar? That's because it is.

Bat: Maybe we should check the League of Assassins?

In reality:

World Consciousness: Let me borrow him. I'll give him back later.

*Dick almost gets beaten to a pulp again today.*

"Dick's Deadwing adventures"

"An angry Bat wonders why everyone keeps trying to steal his son"

"Featuring Deadwings: Injustice Wing, Ghost King Wing, Talon Wing, and all kinds of Deadwings"

Same kind of story as [Jason Wants to Escape Gotham].

I love misunderstandings!

I love putting characters through the wringer!

Theme: Never give up
