Bai Liujin, a winner in life in the 21st century, died one winter at the age of 28. Still peerlessly beautiful, she left behind a life as an internationally renowned supermodel who set the standard for an entire era--
Rare beauty, more than 20 points above a perfect score;
Enough wealth that, beyond a certain amount, it was just a number;
Fame, fans, a circle of friends surrounded by success, and a list of suitors whose looks all scored 88 or higher...
ALL. GONE!!!
From the moment Bai Liujin woke up again and saw that her slender, precious hands, insured for a fortune, had turned into wrinkled, underdeveloped black claws, she began a deranged performance-art crawl.
She demanded answers from the fate-granting System that had appeared in her mind.
A spatial rift caused by the System's mistake had killed the female lead. The System tried to soften her up by taking the form of the Samoyed Bai Liujin had raised, then prostrated itself in apology!
And so, the two unreliable partners teamed up and set off across the vast cultivation world, working as golden finger testers.
Bai Liujin's disastrous new identity from the start:
The good news: She had been reborn as a member of the wicked but noble feudal ruling class, a princess of the imperial family.
The bad news: Seven days ago, the imperial capital had been taken by an army, and the emperor had fled south like a beaten dog.
He left behind his subjects, his palace, and many disregarded concubines and children.
The original owner was one of those unlucky souls. Not only was she unlucky, she was ugly too, which was absolutely unbearable!!!
Luckily, the System came through and customized a [Beauty Collection Guide] golden finger for her. Bai Liujin became a total “pervert,” opening her eyes every day and immediately figuring out how to meet a new beauty, get close, give gifts, and make them happy. Every so often, she'd even stage a tale of redemption.
Once she fulfilled the conditions for upgrading the golden finger, she could earn rewards: cultivation, martial arts manuals, famous swords, and more. Most importantly, she could become beautiful.
That damn System had put the price of her original face at the highest bid of all!!!
And so, as she studied and traveled across the continent, Bai Liujin diligently worked her way through the tasks and trained hard. Before she knew it, she had gained a group of friends who would risk their lives for her.
More and more beauties came seeking her help because of her reputation. Bai Liujin spent her days in a lively routine of solving problems and creating new ones.
Her grand project of becoming beautiful was also slowly nearing completion!
What Bai Liujin would never tell the System:
After her cultivation improved, she could live longer without aging, and fighting was a real thrill. It wasn't all bad!
Theme: Life has nothing to do with beauty or ugliness; it all depends on the heart.
