Chaotic Traits, but All My Sims Are Good People

A player arrived in his beloved game, Simulated City. The game had been updated with a new map and lots of new features. Rubbing his hands together, the player couldn't wait to dive in.

Simulated City is an open-world sandbox game where players can create Sims and guide them through their lives.

The update added Story Mode from the start. It gives players a series of choices, then creates a Sim based on their answers.

The player decided to try out the new feature. After making a series of choices, he created an adult male Sim whose aspiration was Friend of the Animals and whose traits were Fool, Kleptomaniac, and Death's Arrival.

The player then rolled for the Sim's starting funds. The amount a Sim starts with is random, ranging from 100,000 to 500,000.

The dice landed on 12.

Player: "??"

Later, the player discovered that the Sims he created always had a bit of a chaotic streak, and the new map was downright eerie. The player had planned to go out and wreak havoc, but then he saw the background story he'd created for his Sim. It was impossible to put into words, and left him with complicated feelings.

Player: "..."

The player broke into a cold sweat, torn up inside. He transformed into Doctor, the famous ellipsis master from Arknights, and started spamming dots.

Retracting his plan to wreak havoc, he raised his arms and shouted: "...I'll be a good person! I want to be a good person!"

1. The game is inspired by The Sims.

2. Chapters generally start from the player's perspective and switch to the NPC's perspective in the second half.

3. A player who originally planned to play as the Fourth Calamity sees his Sim's background and decides to be a good person instead.
