Collection: Do You Want Lotus Root Cakes?

A project collection from the Five-Star Alliance. Is Lotus Root Cake a Snack? The Zha-Bing Universe, where everyone is fully on board with Zha-Bing.

Each project member has their own books and story branches, and we're currently working together on a serialized spin-off. For details on the five members' assignments, see the CCC Project Development section in the blurb.

AAA currently serializing:

Nezha: Birth of the Demon Child 1 & 2 + Shanghai Animation Film Studio: The Primordial Pearl Has a Dragon Fetish

The "Shanghai Animation Zha-Bing Legendary Trainwreck Series": Teacher, Why Has My Husband Turned into a Twisted Wife-Beater? Is This Commission Serious? 1, 2, and the prequel; [Investiture of the Gods/Shanghai Animation Zha-Bing/Forum Post] My Classmate Says Her Dad's Feudal-Mindedness Is Actually Progressive?!; My Classmate Says She's Feudal-Minded Too, But She's Making Progress...?; My Classmate Says Her Grandpa and His Daoist Partner Are Feudal-Minded Too...

The dark, angsty story Hard to Speak

BBB coming soon:

My column: Primordial Chaos, Investiture of the Gods, and Journey to the West: I Untied the General's Armor; The Spirit Pearl Comes to Collect a Debt

The "New Gods: Yang Jian Yun Bing" series: Lotus Root, Unbroken; Destined to Lack Fire

Exiling the Two Bing to Each Other: This book borrows the image of Nezha from director Huang Chengxi's animated short No Choice. None of the five project members play games; we just think Director Huang's Nezha became incredibly popular, and "Eight Hundred Miles of Yellow Wind Ridge" is so catchy. We're only borrowing Director Huang's image of Nezha.

CCC Project Development:

The main Primordial Chaos story: Huangzhong Plum Is Not a Kind of Fruit Tree by Wanyu Hao (a nine-year-old abandoned project on this site, already at nine thousand words)

The Investiture of the Gods and Journey to the West story: I Untied the General's Armor by Shiyue Hui Ri Nian Nian (me)

The children's story: The Spirit Pearl Comes to Collect a Debt by Shiyue Hui Ri Nian Nian (me)

The modern story: The All-Heavens Group by Wanyu Hao (a nine-year-old abandoned project, not a single word published)

.

Spin-offs: Initiators, coordinators, organizers, and lead writers for various side-story AUs

The Shanghai Animation Zha-Bing heavenly realm division by Baihe Xiaoan,

The Shanghai Animation Zha-Bing underworld division by Tang Bingbing Huangdi,

The New Gods: Yang Jian Yun Bing division by Guan Tao Xianren,

The Nezha: Birth of the Demon Child + Investiture of the Gods + Shanghai Animation mixed division by Shiyue Hui Ri Nian Nian (me)

.

The worldbuilding blends web-novel-style Primordial Chaos, Investiture of the Gods, and Journey to the West to build a beautiful modern mythology AU with a healthy state of mind. It's got everything, so the diet is balanced.
