[Natural disasters, monster fighting, party formation, road-trip story] -- Note: A post-apocalyptic story in a wasteland-like setting, but not a traditional apocalypse novel
At the end of the 22nd century, a sudden magnetic storm triggers global environmental changes, and areas of magnetic anomalies gradually appear all over the world.
Within these anomalous zones, plants, animals, and humans alike rot and die.
The humans who survive think it is simply a natural disaster. Then strange but extremely dangerous "monsters" begin emerging from the anomalous zones. They are later called pollutants.
From then on, the world begins to fall.
Every day, Bian Xia enters contaminated zones on a regular schedule to clear out pollutants and their sources, and deal with mutated plants and animals before they can attack human bases and harm people.
Every day, An Li spends his time in the laboratory, mainly researching how to restore polluted soil, plants, and animals. Later, when the base runs short of samples, he decides to go out to the contaminated zones and collect some himself.
An Li's departure prompts all the bases to launch a search. Bian Xia is urgently assigned to join the operation.
One is a pollutant-killing machine who seems unruly but is actually the strictest rule-follower. The other is a professor who should be meticulous but is always full of clever ideas. Together with a group of friends who would trust one another with their lives, they fight monsters and level up in the apocalypse.
In a nutshell: A story about like-minded friends braving the apocalypse together and clearing out pollutants.
Theme: Life is precious
