Qiu Xunxun has just finished a fight. His long black hair is disheveled, his cold face is streaked with blood, and his whole body radiates a don't-come-near-me aura. Yet the next moment, he crouches down and gently smooths the skirt of the little girl beside him.

The girl smiles up at him and calls, "Mommy."

Then one day, Qiu Xunxun is forced to go back to the big city with Lu Chen for a meal.

Lu Chen points to Bian Yao, who's dressed in designer clothes, and says, "This is your Auntie Bian's son. From now on, he's your younger brother."

They look at each other, both stunned.

That night, Qiu Xunxun turns on his heel and leaves, his face dark with anger. Bian Yao immediately chases after him. Their argument echoes through the alley.

For the nth time, Qiu Xunxun shakes off his hand and roars, "Bian Yao, we're done. If you dare cling to me again, I'll kill you!"

Bian Yao follows close behind, pleading and coaxing shamelessly. "The leash is in your hands. Whether you want to hit the dog or take its life, I'll do whatever you say. Later, Qiu Xunxun realizes that it really is good news.

Somewhere along the way, his little brother becomes his husband.

Every night, once their parents are asleep, Bian Yao quietly climbs through the window and taps on the glass. "Bro, open up."

"If you have something to report, speak. If not, leave the court."

"I report that I'm your sister-in-law, and I'd like permission to come warm your bed!"

Leaning against the window, Qiu Xunxun lazily orders, "Get in here."

"Yes, sir!"

Bian Yao climbs in, bringing the snow and wind with him, then closes the window.

In the dim light, the grinning boy throws his arms around the long-haired, cold-hearted guy and pounces on the bed.
