The Boy Beneath the Umbrella [Nonhuman]

[Eliza and the Evil Spirit] Series 1

Some plot points are connected, but the central story of each installment stands alone and can be read independently.

The rain was heavy that day.

Eliza had just left the fortune-teller's tent when an accident happened right before her eyes.

A runaway carriage ran over a pedestrian, and the crowd scattered in every direction.

Dark red blood flowed down the drain along with the rainwater.

Across a long street and a jostling crowd, Eliza saw a pale-skinned boy on the opposite side.

He stood in the rain beneath a black umbrella, his face expressionless.

P.S.

1. One-on-one, with an unconventional happy ending and an eerie, chaotic style.

2. The characters aren't perfect.

Theme: Face reality and work hard to live.
