When He Xuanzhou was born, a violent gale raged outside and thunderclouds filled the sky. The world was plunged into darkness, and all living things trembled in fear.
The villagers regarded him as an ill-omened child who would bring disaster upon them.
Even He Xuanzhou's parents were terrified. Just as they were about to abandon him, a tall, handsome immortal dressed in white came to see them.
And so, the still-swaddled He Xuanzhou became his disciple.
*
He Xuanzhou had been exceptionally clever since childhood. He was not only the best swordsman among the disciples of the Wuyu Sect, but also the sole closed-door disciple of his master, Xie Nanyu.
Who was Xie Nanyu? The greatest swordsman in the world, nearly a thousand years old, mysterious and detached from worldly affairs. Countless people wanted to become his disciples.
But he had once said that he would accept only one disciple, and that it had to be He Xuanzhou.
He Xuanzhou didn't know why. Xie Nanyu was usually distant and unfeeling, yet with him, he was exceptionally gentle. In big matters and small, he almost always indulged him, so long as his safety wasn't at stake.
The aloof immortal whom the outside world revered would tend He Xuanzhou's wounds and cook for him, refine all kinds of pills for him, and even plant flowers in the Heartbreak Courtyard that clashed with the surrounding landscape.
When He Xuanzhou asked Xie Nanyu why he treated him so well, Xie Nanyu said it was simply because he was He Xuanzhou.
At the time, He Xuanzhou didn't understand the deeper meaning. He found his master's overprotectiveness irritating, and even grew to hate Xie Nanyu's closeness.
A master who loves his disciple?
Disgusting.
Until one day, he was framed, and everyone said he was a member of the demon clan with ulterior motives.
Xie Nanyu, whom he had thought would stand up for him, drew the Wuqing Sword, long untouched by blood, and pointed it at him.
"Those of the demon clan must be killed."
As the sword pierced his heart, He Xuanzhou stared at his master in disbelief. The taste of blood filled his throat, and he couldn't even ask why.
All his hatred turned into vengeance.
Years later, He Xuanzhou truly became the lord of the Demon Realm. A sinister, icy aura clung to him, and his cultivation had reached a level no one could match.
He slaughtered everyone in the Wuyu Sect, leaving Xie Nanyu as the sole survivor.
Inside the demon palace, he forced his master, whose cultivation had been crippled, to kneel before him. He clamped a hand around the other's chin, his gaze cruel and shadowed.
At last, he asked the question he had never managed to voice.
Xie Nanyu gave him a cold glance. The words he spoke sent a chill down He Xuanzhou's spine.
"You're not like him anymore."

1. Top POV, no role reversal.
2. Mutual pampering, with more focus on the top.
3. The top is not a virgin.
4. Xie Nanyu is the top. He becomes frail later on, the sort who's on the verge of dying. If that's not for you, don't read.
Theme: Positive energy.
