CP Only Slows Down How Fast I Draw My Sword

Chang Qingjing stayed up all night finishing a novel.

The heroine was half-human, half-demon, shunned and bullied by the mortal world. After unexpectedly obtaining a peerless divine weapon, she slapped down her detractors and became the greatest swordswoman of all.

It was a satisfying read, but Chang Qingjing had originally been drawn in by the blurb’s interactions between the heroine and her supposed love interest. She never expected to stay up all night reading five hundred chapters without the couple ever appearing.

She had no problem with a story having no romance.

She did have a big problem with the blurb lying to her!

Furious, she wrote a five-hundred-word bad review. Then her vision went black, and she transmigrated into a minor lord in the demon realm.

She dutifully farmed for several hundred years. When she finally came to her senses, she had become the demon realm’s ruler, only to be attacked by a coalition of immortals and humans and die with hatred in her heart...

Then she opened her eyes again.

A pretty young woman stood before her, holding her reverently and asking

“O demonic sword, O demonic sword, who will stand at the pinnacle of the sword path?”

Wait a minute. This plot seems familiar.

Chang Qingjing ventured, “...You?”

The girl slapped the table and stood up. “Su Liu will not disappoint!”

It really was Jin Suliu, the heroine of that stupid novel!

So that meant

Chang Qingjing: “I became a sword?”

Developing the demon realm from scratch had been exhausting. This time, Chang Qingjing decided to take it easy, live a quiet life, and maybe enjoy the romance she never got to read in the novel.

“Ahem, Xiaoliu, there’s nothing wrong with having big ambitions, but a peaceful, ordinary life can be a kind of happiness too. Why do you spend all day fighting and killing? Can’t you enjoy life and have a little romance?”

Jin Suliu smiled without answering.

Chang Qingjing was curious about who the elegant, beautiful woman mentioned in the blurb had been, so she asked again, “So, do you have someone in mind now?”

Jin Suliu’s gaze was full of meaning.

Her target was both far away and right before her eyes.
