The Interstellar Worker's Breaking Point

The planet Dongfang Xiu lived on exploded.

She and the other ninety-nine survivors were taken to a desolate planet where humans were specially bred, and became among those fighting to survive.

At first glance, her fellow survivors thought: This planet isn't desolate at all! You can hunt wherever you like in the wilderness, and in the city there are schools, hospitals, supermarkets, relief food, and jobs. Even though we have nothing right now, there's plenty to look forward to!

But when night fell, flying cars that captured slaves for the financial elite cast nets across the streets. Masked heretics lurked in the shadows, suddenly opening fire. Vagrants could be killed in the street without legal consequences, and the beastfolk were invading, ready to unleash a beast raid at any moment.

And the so-called "things to look forward to" in human society were nothing but sugar-coated poisons.

Her fellow survivors searched high and low, struggling to get ahead. The only one who saw through the truth was the notorious fugitive whose name was... Dongfang Xiu, a child on the outside but impossibly wise beyond her years!

She took a beastfolk infant and exiled herself, venturing deep into the planet's wildest, most terrifying region, where savage beasts roamed.
