Please Date Me Like a Normal Person

[An original, spooky little romance with a sweet twist]

As someone with social anxiety, you've been single your whole life.

One day, you finally get a boyfriend after meeting your online sweetheart in person.

He's handsome, rich, 190 centimeters tall, great in bed, and not clingy. He's practically dancing on your turn-ons. He's younger than you, but he's the one taking care of you. Apart from being a little busy and a little sharp-tongued, he's the perfect boyfriend!

Then, on your third anniversary, your boyfriend dies!

His death is gruesome, and anyone who sees the scene loses Sanity. He's a bloody, mangled mess.

Your romance with your younger puppy boyfriend comes to an end.

You can't accept it. Devastated, you shut yourself in your room for three days, unable to function.

Then, in the middle of the night on the third day...

He comes back. His body is cold, and his face is pale.

Now things have turned terrifying. Then you think again: "My boyfriend is dead, but that doesn't mean he stopped loving me."

So you keep living with him.

One night, you get hungry and come out for a snack. You hear him by the fridge, chewing on something. It sounds like bones.

Crack. Crack. Crack.

Crack. Crack. Crack.

You realize he's not eating food from the fridge. He's eating his own finger bones.

His pale eyes are still beautiful and brilliant. His long, curled lashes cast shadows over them, and blood is smeared around his mouth.

He asks you, all sweet and well-behaved, if you'd like to join him.

Your boyfriend has started acting strange. He might even be a little dumb now.

But it doesn't matter. You love him, and he loves you.

Even if his head occasionally turns a full 360 degrees backward, and he has to use both hands to shove his eye back in before hugging you tightly with the extra hand he grew.

When you get frisky late at night, there's a thick, dark seam of stitches across his slender, strong waist.

The world is falling apart, and your younger boyfriend is patching it back together.

That's what you tell yourself.

A sweet (?), spooky love story about a boyfriend who comes back from the dead.

How wonderful: they're both equally crazy about each other.
