A letter brought Su Xu to the world of games.

The moment he looked up at the sun in this world, he fell for the supreme god atop the tower at first sight.

Little did he know that his companion, wearing a clown mask, had already been watching him intently.

“When you look up at a god, the god is looking back at you.”

“Your names go pretty well together. That guy's called Su Yan.”

Su Xu is part of Su Yan, one of his countless incarnations, a piece of flesh at the very center of his heart.

Once, when Su Yan possessed him, Su Xu glimpsed the vulnerability in his heart. That was when he developed feelings and broke free of Su Yan's control.

He learned his master's secret.

In everyone else's eyes, his master is a tyrant perched atop a tower, treating human lives like a play and toying with them as he pleases.

But in the heart he glimpsed, his master is the clown who guides them through countless missions that have ground to a halt.

“My master's name is Su Yan. I should choose a name that goes with his.”

“Su Xu.”

With his own consciousness, Su Xu doesn't fit in with the other fragments.

Su Yan, whose thoughts had been seen through, gripped the person who had taken over his body.

“You're just one of the master's many dogs, and you dare to think you can get above him?”

Reading guide:

1. This is a long novel. The recipient's identity is revealed very late, but he recognizes the love interest at first sight.
