(Complete! My next story is "After Being Sacrificed, I Was Raised by a Dark, Possessive Ghost." Check my author page~)
[Pure-hearted, healing little white flower × dark, beautiful ghost-like young prince]
The first half is a tender first love; the second half has a touch of forced possession.
*
Fu Ran transmigrated into an old-school tragic romance set during the Northern and Southern Dynasties. Her mission was to save the heroine from a bad ending.
Unfortunately, the heroine was a noblewoman of the Northern Dynasties, deeply in love with her childhood sweetheart, the male lead. Fu Ran had transmigrated into the role of the scheming white lotus orphan who tried to steal him away.
Even worse, a villain also stood in the way of her mission.
The heroine's cousin in name, Prince Qinghe Yan Jue.
A dark, sickly young man, extraordinarily beautiful on the outside and horribly twisted on the inside.
To complete her mission, Fu Ran befriended the heroine, defused the various love rivals' confrontations, and had to win over the suspicious, difficult young man. Once she had succeeded, she left at once, accompanying the heroine to the Southern Dynasty when she married far away. After much effort, she changed the heroine's death-from-illness ending and helped her return to her homeland.
But instead of dying to escape after completing her mission, Fu Ran was locked up in the prince's residence by the little yandere, who had somehow turned dark again after five years apart. On their wedding night, he let her stab him in the heart, then knelt in a pool of crimson blood, despairing and pitiful as he asked:
"Why did you abandon me back then?"
*
Yan Jue, the seventh emperor of the Qi Dynasty, was renowned for his great beauty and, throughout his life, for his ruthless violence.
But there was only one person in his life he could never bring himself to hurt: his empress.
From the moment they met, her origins were unclear and she lied constantly. She played around with several men and was intimate with all of them, making it impossible to tell which feelings were genuine and which were false.
Even so, in the murderous, scheming days of his youth, she was a brief, tender dream.
It didn't matter if she lied to him, didn't love him, left him behind, abandoned him, or chose someone else.
She had only been taken in by those men's false appearances.
He had always been an evil ghost wearing a beautiful human face.
There was still time. He could use all the years they had been apart to reshape everything he possessed, himself included, into something she would love.
*
Five years later, in a prince's residence arranged entirely to suit her tastes, Fu Ran heard him ask, "What do you want, Ranran?"
"If you want the Xie family, I'll spare them. If you want the Su family, I'll spare them. If you want the Cui family's daughter to be safe, I'll make sure her husband lives well... Is there anything else you want?"
The man who had imprisoned her knelt before her and kissed her palm.
Everything she loved mattered.
Only the things she cared about were worth preserving.
He was the same.
If she came to hate him, then he had no reason to remain in this world.
"You can kill me whenever you want, if that's what you wish."
"...But as long as you're still by my side, please don't hate me yet, all right?"
[About the main story]
This is my first story, and the opening isn't very polished. I recommend starting directly from volume four. If you enjoy it, you can go back and read the earlier parts.
[Other notes]
1. One-on-one romance, both leads are virgins, and it's a first love.
2. The male lead ascends the throne after serving as regent.
3. The heroine doesn't deliberately try to win affection or raise his favorability. The yandere simply convinces himself; the male lead falls first. (He never liked the original heroine. It was a misunderstanding.)
4. The world she transmigrates into is a wish-fulfillment novel, so the original heroine really is a stunning Mary Sue. The original leads won't be villainized.
5. The official system is mostly based on reforms under Emperor Xiaowen of Northern Wei, with occasional reference to Northern Qi where details are uncertain. The setting is fictional, so there's no need to check it against history.
Theme: Carry a torch against the wind, and let the flame in your heart burn bright forever.
Oops, I feel like the original heroine has too many plots. I want to read We Ranran. Now that I've read this novel, I think it's better to just call it a double heroine. 🤷 Su's plots are more than the male protagonists. I don't know how many more plots I want to read, but I can't find any male protagonists.
Damn, I've also finished reading your first book! A very complete and loving story! I hope I can see the extra episode woo woo woo because I can't bear to leave Ran Ran and Ah Zhen🥺
Finished scattering flowers 🐶🌹 scattering flowers 🐶🌹 scattering flowers 🐶🌹 spreading flowers 🐶🌹
Always be sweet. I feel like the male protagonist's aunt may be his mother.
It's really sweet. I like this kind of love between a boy and a girl. Woohoo. There are more authors, faster!!!
Ahhhhh author! Why is it inserted at important moments? 😭 😭 The words in parentheses are really distracting. It feels like the ambiguous atmosphere has been shattered in an instant. Isn't the most important thing about a novel that makes people immersed in it? Wuwu. I feel that your words are very inappropriate 😭 😭.
