The Villain With Negative Affection Won Me Over

Years after quitting the game, Nan Yu transmigrated into a xianxia romance game she had played and got bound to a Favorability System.

The game was famous for its huge cast. Luckily, back in the day, she had stayed up all night to unlock every happy ending, and memorized all the male leads' conquest guides better than her course material. With just a few casual interactions, she could easily win their affection, so she wasn't worried about having transmigrated.

System: [Host's mission is to redeem a character who is about to turn evil. Since Host already has a foundation of favorability with him, his current feelings toward you are...]

Nan Yu, who knew the tropes by heart, immediately rubbed her hands together. "I know, it's that widower romance trope, right? Which male character I've conquered has been pining for me and stayed a widower for years? His favorability has to be at least 90, even if it's not 100, right?"

The System fell silent for a moment. [His favorability toward you is -9999. Please keep trying, Host.]

Nan Yu was stunned. "Wait, how much did you say?"

[The villain Mu Yinchen, favorability -9999, has reached the minimum. Current target status: holding a grudge.]

Nan Yu: I'm out.

Where was the devoted male lead who stayed faithful to his dead wife? Why had she been assigned a beautiful, vicious villain instead?

Luckily, just as she was about to quit, the System hastily offered a solution. [As the beloved junior sister of the righteous sect, Host is a crucial part of Mu Yinchen's revenge plan. So you don't need to conquer him. He'll come and manipulate your feelings.]

With the favorability she'd accumulated with everyone else, Nan Yu lived a pampered life, carefully waiting for the villain to deceive her.

She found a pretty little white fox on the mountain. It clung to her, behaved sweetly, and pouted adorably. Overjoyed, she gave it a kiss, then heard the System announce: [Villain favorability -10.]

She brought the little white fox home, hoping to make him feel her warmth. The moment she put him on the bed, another prompt sounded: [Villain favorability -5.]

She still didn't give up. She carefully bandaged the little white fox's injured leg, tended to him, and showed him plenty of concern. She thought he would surely be moved this time, but instead she got another System announcement: [Villain favorability -50.]

Before long, the little white fox disappeared, and a handsome young junior brother joined the sect.

He was kind and pleasant to everyone, and had an excellent reputation. But whenever she tried to show him concern, she kept hearing the System announce that his favorability was plummeting.

Months later, Nan Yu was finally driven to fury by the villain's sarcastic remarks. She slapped him hard and told the System, "I'm done with this stupid mission!"

The System fell silent again for a moment. [...The villain's favorability just increased by 9999. Please keep up the good work, Host.]

##I thought I had to move him with love and kindness. Turns out, a real villain is into this kind of thing##

##Wait, wasn't he supposed to be the villain? Why is he chasing me now?##
