A Lord to Pluck Spring For

I meet your gaze with the spine of my sword,

shattered snow, an unfinished sentence of judgment.

Before the avalanche,

you said you would burn every taboo in the history books,

yet on our joint burial stele, you engraved:

"So-and-so and so-and-so, in such-and-such a year and month

once shared the same soul."
