Gentle, oblivious seme x gloomy, crawling-in-the-dark uke
-
Every protagonist standing in the spotlight depends on supporting characters who quietly stand behind them in the shadows.
They are often just as capable as the protagonists, yet willingly play second fiddle, becoming an untouchable, pure moonlight in the protagonists' hearts.
"A thrilling team-up between two equally powerful heroes takes down the villain"
System: When everything is over, what do you want to do most?
Unaware he's everyone's moonlight · mildly world-weary · no worldly desires whatsoever · love idiot · male supporting character: Fake your death and leave him.
And so, the protagonists in each little world, men of impeccable virtue and grace, went mad overnight. Unable to accept the male supporting character's death, they searched every corner of the earth, turning it upside down to find him.
Their twisted, layered love swelled like a raging tide.
Only when he was cornered and met those eyes, full of pain and restraint, did he belatedly notice the unnatural warmth in his cheeks and the pounding of his heart.

Notes:
1. Both leads are powerful; beautiful seme and strong uke, one-on-one, both virgins, happy ending. The story is structured mostly as connected arcs, with something like a system running through the whole book. The protagonists differ in each world, and the order may not match the one in this blurb, or may be adjusted slightly. The actual story takes precedence~
2. The seme is strong at his core, emotionally slow and very slow to warm up. He reciprocates a little early on, but not much. Later, the uke moves him, and he learns how to love and be loved.
3. Early on, the uke is a noble and upright male protagonist. After the seme fakes his death, he becomes a mad, love-addled obsessive.
4. Lots of personal worldbuilding! Lots of personal worldbuilding! Lots of personal worldbuilding!
Theme: Love can help people break through darkness and overcome every hardship
