The Princess Becomes a Prisoner of the Enemy Kingdom's General

By the time Huo Gong went to collect the princess for the political marriage, the Huo family's army had already crossed the treacherous natural barrier, breached the city, and captured the princess's brutal, merciless elder brother, who had been utterly powerless to resist.

When Princess Mianqing learned that her kingdom had fallen, she hid a sharp blade on her person and demanded to meet Huo Gong, the enemy nation's great general.

When she stabbed at Huo Gong with the blade, he stopped her and dragged her into his tent.

It turned out the political marriage had been nothing but an excuse, and she, Mianqing, had become a laughingstock too.

Mianqing was determined to die, but then she learned she was pregnant.

"Huo Gong, if you don't kill me, one day I will tear you limb from limb." Mianqing bit the flesh beneath Huo Gong's ear. The pain enraged him, and like a wolf, he nearly bit through her neck.

The two of them were like beasts, locked in a fight to the death.
