My Ex-Boyfriend Is an Esports Legend

One-line summary: My crush is the ex-boyfriend I dumped?!

As a well-known esports player who makes a living off his looks, Qu Xiangfeng's extraordinary beauty overshadows his skill. Clubs fight over him so they can send him out to promotional events.

It's only natural that Qu Xiangfeng himself is a top-tier pretty-face lover. Just as he thinks looking in the mirror every day has stopped being a thrilling experience, he starts dating a guy online.

The guy keeps him company in chat and in games, and showers him with gifts. Qu Xiangfeng is completely smitten.

After confirming that the photos the guy sent aren't stolen from the internet, Qu Xiangfeng falls head over heels for the handsome face in them. After dating for six months, he finally works up the courage to meet in person.

But he arrives early and hides nearby. When he sees the person who came to meet him, Qu Xiangfeng nearly crushes his phone.

He looks down and checks again: "Baby, are you here yet?"

The reply comes back: "I'm here. White shirt, black pants."

Qu Xiangfeng looks up. The person standing there, clearly waiting for someone, has a height-to-weight ratio that makes him look practically cube-shaped. He even spits on the ground without a care. Qu Xiangfeng's brows furrow hard.

Thinking that he'd been dating someone like that for so long makes Qu Xiangfeng feel sick. It's the greatest humiliation of his pretty-face-loving life.

To put an end to this mistake, Qu Xiangfeng turns and walks away, sending the guy a complete package of blocking and deleting along the way. He's also relieved he never made their relationship public, or people in the industry would laugh at him for the rest of his life.

Faced with Qu Xiangfeng's cold rejection, the other guy keeps pleading pathetically. He doesn't seem at all like the aloof person Qu Xiangfeng had pursued back then.

If Qu Xiangfeng hadn't met him in person, he might actually have enjoyed this. But now he's just annoyed.

"Are you going to dump me?" the guy asks one last time.

Qu Xiangfeng gives a scornful laugh. So what if he dumps him? He hasn't even confronted him for using fake photos to catfish him!

He types furiously: "Yes! That's right, I'm dumping you! Keep bothering me and I'll call the police."

A catfish who uses fake photos dares to meet him in person? Is he trying to provoke him?

Elsewhere, fans of Bai Yunzhe, a well-known technical streamer for a popular game, are surprised to discover that their streamer seems to be heartbroken. At three in the morning, he goes live, dead drunk, then posts some incomprehensible, melodramatic heartbreak quotes.

"Perhaps only becoming a regret can make you unforgettable."

The next day, after sobering up, Bai Yunzhe discovers he's lost his real name and become "Mr. Unforgettable."

In over twenty years of life, this is the first time he's wanted to kill someone, just to teach him who he can and can't mess with.

After much reflection, reason finally wins out, and he doesn't expose that scumbag online.

But he can't stop a certain someone from shamelessly throwing himself at him.

The club books Qu Xiangfeng for a new promotional gig. He's always hated this kind of commercial event, but he actually runs into his "ex-boyfriend" here.

If the photos had already made him fall in love at first sight, the man himself is so breathtaking he's beyond compare.

So he's a game streamer, huh? Qu Xiangfeng nods, convinced he's figured it out. No wonder that liar managed to get his photos.

Once he's reached this conclusion, Qu Xiangfeng boldly makes his move and asks for his contact information.

After all, he really does love that face!

The friend request is accepted, and the other guy goes silent. Qu Xiangfeng goes silent too. His eyes widen, his scalp prickles, and he slowly looks up at the increasingly dangerous smile on the man's face.

Bai Yunzhe reacts lightning-fast, grabs Qu Xiangfeng as he tries to run, and slams him against the wall with a cold laugh.

"Dump me?"

Later, Bai Yunzhe's only condition for signing with the club is that Qu Xiangfeng comes as part of the deal.

His explanation: "He's our team's support player. I'm used to playing with him."
