After Retiring, I Just Want to Cuddle with My Wife

Yu Shanyue is an unremarkable player in an infinite-flow world. After conquering the dungeons and successfully retiring, he decides to settle down in an ordinary world and leave monsters behind for good.

Things go even more smoothly than Yu Shanyue imagined. Not only does he open a successful pastry shop, he also finds a partner.

His partner is beautiful and fair-skinned, with a gentle nature and an easygoing temperament. He is so deeply in love with Yu Shanyue that he brings home a gift for him every time he goes out. Aside from not being much of a talker, there's nothing wrong with him.

Yu Shanyue thought he would spend an ordinary but happy life this way, until one morning, when he opened the door...

A former underling he'd beaten up collapsed at his doorstep, sobbing. “Boss!!! Help!!! This world is going to end!!”

Yu Shanyue: ?

This world is about to be swallowed by dungeons and turned into a new hell, where everyone will become playthings for monsters.

Yu Shanyue's partner is so beautiful and delicate that he wouldn't even dare kill a chicken. If he encountered a monster, he'd surely be scared to death.

So, in order to keep living this ordinary life, Yu Shanyue decides to destroy the new dungeon before it can swallow the world.

Everything goes very smoothly, aside from the occasional little problem:

The blood splattered on him after killing monsters is hard to wash off. Wounds from monsters grazing him are hard to hide. Since Yu Shanyue rarely goes out, he has to come up with reasons for his frequent trips...

Luckily, his partner is so understanding that Yu Shanyue always manages to fool him. He never suspects a thing, and even says thoughtfully, “No matter when you come home, I'll be here waiting for you.”

Yu Shanyue thinks his partner is the best in the world!

Until one day, on his way home after killing monsters, he watches his seemingly delicate partner impassively stab a gigantic tentacled monster to death. A rush of blood splashes across his porcelain-white face.

The monster lets out a mournful wail, and his partner furrows his brow.

“...My shirt's dirty again. How am I going to explain this at home?”

Yu Shanyue: :)

What a coincidence. I was wondering the same thing.
