Rong Jiwan transmigrates into a book, becoming the villainous demon queen who shares her name in a xianxia novel.
The demon queen in the book is a bloodthirsty flesh-eater who loves slaughter. The righteous sects hate her to the bone and can't wait to tear her limb from limb.
But her demonic cultivation is unfathomably powerful. No matter how many people want her dead, they can't even touch the hem of her robe.
Rong Jiwan thinks she's pretty lucky. She didn't transmigrate as cannon fodder, but as a ruthless character who can run wild in the cultivation world.
Just as she decides to test out the demon queen's powers, she discovers... she can't use them at all!!!
Rong Jiwan refuses to give up. She tries different locations and methods, only to despairingly realize that all she's inherited is the villain's empty shell.
Faced with the prospect of being hunted down by her enemies at any moment, she has a brief breakdown, packs her things that very night, and makes a run for it.
Starving to death on the run, she meets a fairy in pink.
The fairy's delicate hands touch her face, and Rong Jiwan's mind suddenly jolts.

Oh heavens! The System, which had been pretending to be dead for over half a year, has finally come back to life.
She quickly latches onto the key point: physical contact with the female protagonist restores her powers.
The fingers of Rong Jiwan's hand, lying on the ground, twitch. She springs to her feet in one swift motion.
Wonderful! The female protagonist is a healer. I'm saved!
