Forced to Write Ten Thousand Words a Day to Feed an Incubus

Shen Yan is a well-known writer of beautiful, heart-wrenching bad endings. Every book she writes ends so beautifully that it breaks her readers' hearts, and after each one, another name is added to the internet-wide hit list targeting her.

She also takes leave for the most ridiculous reasons. She is the most textbook case of a chronic dodger!

One late night, her best friend swore on all the good fortune she would have for the rest of her life that she would make Shen Yan write a happy ending and update more frequently.

Shen Yan disdainfully opened the huge parcel her friend had sent...

A succubus, curled up inside the shipping box, weak with hunger.

Shen Yan's eyes widened in shock. What on earth had her friend, once an online novelist, turned into?!

Before she could even ask, the succubus raised her tear-filled eyes and clutched at her sleeve, sobbing, "Please... give me a little 'love'..."

The online novelist Shen Yan instantly grew wary. "What kind of love? Which kind? Put your clothes on first! I'm a respectable person!"

The succubus burst into tears in seconds and said pitifully, "It's... your passion for writing QAQ"

It turned out this succubus fed on "a creator's passion," something Shen Yan had never possessed...

To feed her succubus, Shen Yan was forced to write ten thousand words every day, and every book had to be a sweet romance.

Her readers rejoiced: "The author finally updated! It's so sweet it's giving me a toothache! Retract the hit list, retract it right now!"

Shen Yan looked at the succubus nestled in her arms, nibbling daintily on "affection," and sighed, pressing a hand to her forehead. "...You have no idea what I've had to give up."

A tsundere author who's all bark and no bite x a pure-hearted succubus who was starving into a skeleton
