Pairing: Mycroft Holmes
Yi Ye is going to study in Britain, and chooses an English name for himself: Eddie Hill.
A week into term, he still hasn't seen his roommate. Having the dorm all to himself is pretty great.
One day, he happens to witness a genius solve a case on the spot and can't help exclaiming in Chinese, "That's freaking awesome." That attracts Pandora's (not really) attention. From then on, he loses his chance to have the dorm to himself. In between studying, he's constantly being dragged off to crime scenes for no apparent reason.
At this rate, his major might change from finance to forensic science.
Then one day, a shocking case of a man being abducted in broad daylight takes place on the street. He is the man who gets abducted.
When he opens his eyes, there's a handsome guy ten meters away, dressed in a suit and tie and radiating gentlemanly charm. He's holding a black umbrella that looks like it's packed with high-tech gadgets.
The handsome guy still has a full head of hair at this point.
The guy asks him to keep an eye on his roommate and report back, offering a five-figure monthly payment in advance.
Oh-ho! What a deal. Eddie Hill agrees on the spot, takes the money, then splits it with his roommate.
For the sake of keeping the arrangement going, he has to do the job after taking the money. Eddie Hill diligently makes up (not really) reports based on his day-to-day observations, and texts with his patron every day. Before long, the two of them get involved.
On the day he graduates, Eddie Hill has a breakup hookup with his sugar daddy, pats him on the butt, and heads back to China.
Mycroft Holmes, cruelly dumped, looks at the mess on his body and smiles.
When the story officially begins, Eddie Hill comes to Britain at his roommate's invitation to witness the birth of a beloved national pairing. As soon as he gets off the plane, someone "invites" him to an unfinished building.
The same familiar scene, the same familiar person...
A second chance at love? Rekindling an old flame?
Sharp-tongued, levelheaded top x mature, daddy-type? bottom
Top's perspective, top's perspective, top's perspective!
OOC warning
P.S. I just love younger tops. Everything the top knows about sex, from his first fumbling experience to his skills, he learned from the bottom and practiced on him. The bottom also really enjoys the feeling of raising him. Inner thoughts: I raised him with my own hands, so he's mine alone.
P.P.S. A mystery? No. High-IQ clashes? No. Brilliant deductions? No. It's just a simple love story.
P.P.P.S. The timeline has some original elements. Holmes and Watson are close friends, and Watson will have a wife, but she won't feature much. The protagonist and Sherlock are just good friends. Mycroft is the real deal!
