A tall, long-haired guy moved in next door. Unfortunately, he was too trendy, and I have a fear of trendy people. Plus, he's always so cold and distant. My social anxiety kicked in!
Sometimes I came home late and made a bit too much noise opening and closing the door. He'd message me to keep it down. You could tell from the text alone that he was definitely mad! It's not my fault the old apartment building's facilities are terrible. But the rent is cheap, and a fool turns down a bargain. Right?
After getting to know him, I realized my neighbor might not be so bad. He kept inviting me over for meals. He's actually really nice.
But sometimes, late at night, I can hear moaning and groaning from next door. Is he watching TV...?
The noise stopped. Then he called me.
