[GB] A Long-Haired Man Lives Next Door

A short GB story, based on one of my chat screenshot stories.

First-person female protagonist's perspective, not written for self-insertion. The heroine is an author-created character, so don't read if that's not your thing.

A tall, long-haired guy moved in next door. Too bad he's so trendy. I have a fear of trendy people, and he's always so cold and distant. My social anxiety is acting up!

Sometimes I come home late and make a bit too much noise opening and closing the door. Then he messages me to keep it down. I can tell just from his texts that he's definitely mad! It's not my fault the fixtures in this old apartment building are lousy. Besides, the rent is cheap. You'd be a fool not to take a bargain, right?

After getting to know him better, I realize my neighbor isn't so bad after all. He keeps inviting me over for meals. He's actually really nice.

But sometimes, in the middle of the night, I hear moaning and groaning next door. Is he watching TV...?

The noise stops, and he calls me.

(The reason Lin Xingyang doesn't appear in the synopsis is that I started out writing him as a dog, so he didn't even count as the male lead. In the end, the three of them get together, but technically there are two dogs, haha.)

After watching the security footage, I got goosebumps. I'll never go to that escape room again.

Before bed, I came across a video and casually tried it out. Then the lights in my room went out... I think a ghost is haunting me... Sob, sob, Mom!
