A seemingly gentle and open-minded, actually obsessive and unhinged top vs. a seemingly aloof and indifferent, actually carefree and alluring bottom

A deadpan, confidently nonsensical introduction:
Everyone in the Twelfth Realm knew that the aloof, indifferent King of Light, whose radiance illuminated heaven and earth, and the obsessive, unhinged, dark and sinister King of Darkness were bitter enemies, as incompatible as fire and water. After the great battle between light and darkness, both kings fell at the same time, leaving the two realms to mourn their loss endlessly.
One day, two rumors shocked the Twelfth Realm and sent the two realms, which had fallen into deathly silence after the war, into an uproar:
1. The two kings weren't dead. They were thriving in the lowly, primitive, backward First Realm.
2. The two kings had been playing a double game, and had actually fallen for each other in the First Realm!
A little scene:
After the Battle of Jialan Pass, Gu Chizhi saw Xiao Jin bewitching everyone and couldn't help saying, "Look at that bunch of roughnecks down there. You've got their souls flying right out of their bodies."
Xiao Jin glanced at him from the corner of his eye. "Have a little confidence. You're the one who claims to have made it big on your looks and stamina..."

This is actually a tale of two archenemies and the long-running "affair" that began with a wager...
Reader's Guide (Please Read):
1. The story is a slow burn, with lots of original worldbuilding and wildly imaginative ideas.
2. World setting: The Twelfth Realm encompasses the First through Eleventh Realms and is responsible for administering them. The higher the number, the higher the realm's level.
3. The top and bottom were originally mortal enemies. After falling from the Twelfth Realm to the First, they meet and get to know each other again. I'll say no more to avoid spoilers.
4. The story is split evenly between plot and romance.
4. I'll add more if I think of anything... (April 11, 2025 edition)
