Also known as The Pillow Princess
"Simply put, this is a story about two people who secretly loved each other as teenagers. One of them suddenly left without a word, and years later, when they meet again, they still have each other on their minds. After a few twists and turns, they finally end up together."
"A college student and cooking influencer with an amazing food spirit root, Yang Lingjia × a cool, aloof hip-hop instructor, Shen Shurong"

[Blurb]
Yang Lingjia is twenty years old. Her favorite thing is sleeping, and her least favorite thing is exercising.
Her limbs are spectacularly uncoordinated, and when she gets embarrassed, she even walks with her arms and legs moving on the same side. After her roommates tease her, Yang Lingjia decides to quietly work hard and amaze everyone: she signs up for dance lessons at a studio, determined to fix her coordination once and for all!
By a twist of fate, she meets Shen Shurong, the studio owner and hip-hop instructor. Shen is exactly the kind of carefree, handsome dancer Yang Lingjia admires most, with striking red hair that catches everyone's eye.
Only after getting to know Shen Shurong does Yang Lingjia realize just how different she is from her outward appearance.
She looks slender and tall, but when she wears sleeveless tops, she shows off the sleek, well-defined muscles across her shoulders. When she dances, she moves with enough force to knock out someone like Yang Lingjia with a single punch.
Though she mostly wears black, white, gray, and blue, her home is full of adorable plush toys, and Shen Shurong even sews her own dolls!
And that's just the beginning. Yang Lingjia could go on forever.
After becoming such close friends that they can talk about anything, Yang Lingjia even gets one-on-one dance lessons from Shen Shurong. But, well...
"Was that move part of the routine?"
Yang Lingjia touched her kissed cheek in confusion and stared wide-eyed at Shen Shurong.
The other woman calmly met her gaze. "I was just copying the way you always try to bribe me when you don't want to get out of bed."
Reading Guide:
1. A slow-burn, everyday-life story with a little information about street dance. I'm not sure whether it will be short or long; I'm writing it to lift my spirits.
2. One-on-one pure romance: a cute girl × a cool, poker-faced woman. The setting is not an all-female world.
3. Although I like going to dance studios, this story isn't based on real people. I made it all up, and you don't need to know anything about street dance to enjoy it. If it sparks your interest, you can try a local dance studio! Exercise can be a lot of fun, just remember to protect your body, know your limits, and don't force yourself to attempt difficult moves.
4. I wanted to read a light, sweet story, so I wrote one myself. This is exactly my cup of mild, simple tea. ovo
5. The comment section is closed because I made a mistake. I meant to set it so I wouldn't see comments on this story, but I accidentally closed it permanently.
6. To be added.
Theme: Face your shortcomings openly, make a positive effort to change, and become a better version of yourself.
